Terrorism, it’s so convenient… Terrorists are like super heroes for politicians and security companies, showing up at just the right time! Be it for re-election, to pass a law or start a war in a little place inhabited by strange brown people that will result in billions of dollars of contracts! Now, To Yemen! RIDE! Wahoo! Here’s Thomas Kean, the man who led the inquiry into intelligence lapses for 9/11 saying that the recent failed pants bomber “probably did us a favour”. Tasteful right?

In the old days resistance in the form of terrorism was a terrible thing, you know, when it stood against oppression and the state, but that was before the smartie pants in suits realised how much they could gain from BEING the terrorist, by funding and controlling the terrorist! /facepalm – It was so obvious! Fear on call! The terror card! A race up the governments sleeve! They’re a breed of people now, evil and vicious with a fetish for planes! What with more than $1billion pledged to advance airport security, they’re still after the planes!?! (Or is it just lazy plot writing)

We’re told we face a decade of “faraway wars” as the media gears us up for Yemen, Iran and Somalia. Even the dead man himself released a new single, called from Osama to Obama, catchy. The White House says it doesn’t have time to verify it’s even him of course (Pssst….because it’s not!)

We’re all getting nudey scans at airports, justified by the convenient plot involving western looking women sent by Osama to blow up an airplane, just incase any of you white women were thinking you could refuse the scanners …
“Didn’t you hear of the plot love…. you’re a suspect now.” It’s from a cell in Yemen, of course.

Don’t forget the reports that an indian plane will be hijacked and crashed into a British city. Or the plan to blow up the England football team. Or the arrest in a “terror probe” in Birmingham . Even kids tv presenters are stopped under terrorism laws which are abused every single day, and used against you. Even the Taxman uses them. Terror. Terror! TERROR!

All of these reports are despite the fact Alan Johnson and security officials have stated “There is no knowledge of a new plot or an old plot moving on.” that “There is no specific threat to London.” and there shouldn’t be “any discernable difference” for members of the public taking flights or going about their normal business.”

So why is the media talking all this terror terror bullshit?
